May Your Head Be Lifted High
For a normal child delivery, the head of the baby is the first part of the body that makes contact with the world.
The head is so significant that no man can live or survive without it. A person can live without hands, eyes, ears, legs but no man is in the land of the living headless.
Spiritually your head signifies your glory. Your glory is the peculiar treasure of heaven in your life, it is that particular asset that is meant to distinguish you from others, it is that peculiar deposit that makes you to shine among other people.
The lifter of head is the Almighty Father, who has declared you glorious and victorious. The bible says in Psalms 27 vs 6:And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
When the Lord lifts up your head, others do not see you but they see God in you.
They will see God because you are an image of God. Remember that at creation God created mankind to be perfect and to be in absolute fellowship with Him. He planned that man will be in a state of surplus, dominion and multiplication. This is a direct confirmation of His thoughts according to Jeremiah 29 vs 11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
The question now is why are so much troubles and battles in the world such that majority of people seem to be lost in the achievement of their purpose and destiny?
Simply, an entity identified in 1 Peter 5 vs 8: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”, gate-crashed into mankind’s life in the garden of Eden.
But God is not done with His desires. To save man from the destruction of the deceiver and out of God’s mercies, compassion and love, He deployed planned B. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life John 3 vs 16.
My dear Friend, God wants to lift up your head, you only need to accept His only begotten Son-Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. And if you had before now declared His Lordship, please stay connected with Him, He is the only true friend.
May the lifter of heads, lift you up from glory to glory, from strength to strength in the name of Jesus.
